The Right Helmet for You

Don’t buy cheap helments which are available in the market. Just becasue some helmets meet the minimium requirements does not mean that they are a good buy at cheap prices. There are a few things that you should keep in mind before buying a helmet:

1) The most important thing is that you should be comfortable wearing the helmet. Don’t buy a helmet which is uncomfortable yet stylish. I have seen many accidents happen becasue people were not wearing a comfortable helmet.
2) The helmet that you buy must meet all the safety standards. The helmet that you buy must give more importance to your safety and not pay importance only to design.
3) The third and the most important aspect that I look for in a helmet is that the quality of metrial used. Many companies will use cheap material which make the helmets less expensive but do not withstand a crash.

I think Arai makes good helmet. They a tag bit expensive but the quality used to manufacture the helmets is excellent. I have come across people whos bodies have been shatterred but the head was saved becasue they had used Arai helmets. This is my personal opinion but it is up to you to decide which helmet you want to buy.
