Details of Hayabusa Performance

Posted by on May 3, 2009

Many of you who have purchased the Hayabusa must be wondering about the hayabusa performance. Here are some useful stats:

The hayabusa consumes 5.6 litres of premium fuel for every 100kms it driven in the city. If you use your hayabusa on highways then your bike will consume about 5.1 litres of premium fuel for every 100kms. On the other hand if you use standard fuel then your hayabusa will consume about 6.2 litres of standard fuel if driven in the city. If you use standard fuel and drive on the highways then your bike will consume 5.4 litres of fuel. The fuel consumption may vary depending on the driving condition and the person driving the bike.

If you are wondering the top speed at which you could drive your bike in each of the gears, here is a small brief:
When you put on the first gear the maximum speed is 135 kilometres per hour.
When you put on the second gear the maximum speed is 185 kilometres per hour.
When you put on the third gear the maximum speed is 230 kilometres per hour.
When you put on the fourth gear the maximum speed is 275 kilometres per hour.
When you put on the fifth gear the maximum speed is 305 kilometres per hour.

To check the maximum speed of sixth gear I could not afford the premium of the guy who was testing the Hayabusa. So if any of you guys have tested the top speed of the 6th gear pls. Let me know.
The top speed which has been tested is about 200 miles per hour or about 300 kilometres per hour. The bike takes just 3 seconds to reach the speed of 100 kilometres per hour. This is quite fast when compare to bikes like the Blackbird, GSX – R and ZZ- R1100.
