Straighten Hayabusa’s Handle Bar

Posted by on November 26, 2008

If your bike handle is bent, your Hayabusa is definitely never going to go straight. What do you do….

Try the following, it might help

1) Put the bike on the rear stand or just hold the bike up (just hope that you can do so)

2) Loosen the bolts on the triple tree (2 allen head bolts and 4 bolts)

3) Hold the wheel using legs or wall (get help if you cannot do it alone) and try to push the bar.

4) Give your eyes some exercise and check if the effort that you have put in has made the handle straight.

5) Bolt back the unscrewed bolts.

6) Take your Hayabusa for a test ride, and check if the bike is going straight even if your hands are not on the handle bar.

7) If everything is fine and the bike is still wangling, then make adjustment to the lean steering.

8) If nothing works…do the next best thing “Visit your local mechanic”
