Safety are a must have and if you can’t afford to buy them, then forget about buying your dream bike “Hayabusa”. First get a good helmet for yourself. Some people customize the helmet to match your bike. These helmets are available in various colors and design and finding one which suits your style will not be a problem. A detailed review of the right helmet for you can be found on the article that I have written earlier.

Another safety accessory that is important when you drive the Hayabusa is the riding suit. Buy suit which are flame resistant, as it will protect you in case your bike catches fire. Other important safety accessories that you could buy are goggles, sunglasses, knee pad, gloves and more. Many of these accessories will help in making your driving experience more comfortable. Rain gear is another important safety accessory that you buy.

So go ahead and secure your life by buying at least a few of safety accessories mentioned above before you start riding your Hayabusa.

So you have decided to buy the Hayabusa and are finding out the best deal. You should start by going to manufacturer site that is Suzuki Cycles. Find out what is the company price. Most dealers that you go to will add another 10% to that base price. An extra 15% for delivery fee, documentation and taxes. Also look at what rates the extended warranty is offered. If the rates are too high, you can avoid getting an extended warranty.

So now that you have understood high side “DO NOT” release the brakes when your rear tire is locked up. Instead try to steer the hayabusa in the direction of the swing i.e. if the rear end of the hayabusa to towards the throttle side then steer your hayabusa towards the right side. When the bike slows down you can slowly move towards the rear side. Your body weight will put pressure on the rear tire forcing hayabusa to slow down. Once you are comfortable with the bike then slowly release the brakes.

So be very careful when driving your hayabusa when your tires are locked up else…..you will experience what “Egyptian Mummy” looked like when you look at yourself mirror after falling from your hayabusa.

So you have the fastest bike in the world and you are feeling its heat. You are one among many bikers who find it hard to bear the heat generated by the bike. I can suggest some changes in your dress code which will help in bearing the heat.

1) Wear “LEATHER“. The golden rule here is wearing as much leather as possible. Leather has high heat absorption power and will minimize the affect of heat on your skin. If the weather in your area does not permit you to wear leather, then you can wear think jeans. Do not wear your everyday jeans when you drive the Busa instead wear a double thick jeans. I wear a ICON Anthem jeans when I ride my Busa.

2) Also wear a baseball cap under your helmet. The baseball cap should be made of material which will help to cool you faster. The baseball cap also creates gap between the head and helmet allowing cool air to pass through.

3) Get your self a high shin motorcycle boots. This prevents the heat from causing any inconvenience to your legs.

1) The most important thing is that you should be comfortable wearing the helmet. Don’t buy a helmet which is uncomfortable yet stylish. I have seen many accidents happen becasue people were not wearing a comfortable helmet.
2) The helmet that you buy must meet all the safety standards. The helmet that you buy must give more importance to your safety and not pay importance only to design.
3) The third and the most important aspect that I look for in a helmet is that the quality of metrial used. Many companies will use cheap material which make the helmets less expensive but do not withstand a crash.

<!--

I think Arai makes good helmet. They a tag bit expensive but the quality used to manufacture the helmets is excellent. I have come across people whos bodies have been shatterred but the head was saved becasue they had used Arai helmets. This is my personal opinion but it is up to you to decide which helmet you want to buy.

The engine has been upgraded and you get 1340 cc engine instead of the 1290 cc engine which is present in 2007 model. The connecting rod and pistons have been changed. The crankshaft has been changed which has resulted in improved oiling. The titanium valves placed on the lighter single valve springs help in reducing the reciprocating mass. The fuel delivery system has been improved with the introduction of new double barrel SDTV throttle.

The four pistons Dual Tokico calipers are highly appreciated upgrades because of its improved capability of slowing down the mean machine. The brake disk size has also been reduced to quicken the steering movement. Also the design team has worked extremely hard to maintain the original look yet make Hayabusa look as iconic as possible.

The removal of extraneous brackets has helped in reducing the frame weight. The sub-frames are comparatively much stronger. The seat height has also been reduced by reducing the height of badonkadonk (proof rectangular steel rails). The cockpit of Hayabusa is more spacious with the addition of 0.7 inch of legroom and a half an inch longer reach to the bars. The height of the wind screen has been increased by 0.6 inches making your ride more comfortable.

They at times get good deals because many accessories come along with the second hand bike that they purchase. Buying a Busa is like buying any automobile. You most thoroughly inspect the vehicle before buying it. Sometimes the bike that you purchase may be hardly used but may require re-conditioning. So check out the condition of tire, brakes, suspension, chain, sprockets, brake fluid, brake pads, coolant, brake rotator, fairing, engine casing and sub frames before taking your purchase decision.

Then take the bike for a test ride and check for the following

How quickly does the engine start up?

How smooth the engine is

The exhaust noise

Check if the gears are clicking easily

Also check if the steering aligns properly with the tires and is completely straight.

If you are novice and have limited knowledge about bikes it is advisable to first take the bike to a mechanic who will thoroughly examine the bike and give you a clear picture about the condition of the bike.
