2011Suzuki Hayabusa to come with a new Platinum Air Suspension
Posted by on October 8, 2010
Suzuki has introduced a new air ride technology in Hayabusa that will allow the bikers to adjust the ride height and the rebound of their bike. The specialists at Platinum Air Suspension have used the company’s BLEED FEED technology to create this new system in the bike. Bikers who want to change the rebound and the ride height of their bike can do so with the help of a switch.
With this new technology the ride and the handling has significantly improved as there is no bouncing or bottoming out.
It was the aim of the team at Platinum Air Suspension to ensure the handling and suspension movement is not compromised when the biker drives the fastest bike in the world. The new system will include an air cylinder that is made from 6061 T-6 billet aluminum. The system also includes an air compressor, air-control valve, fittings, DOT approved quarter-inch lines, line cutter and switch hardware. If you want to install the platinum kit in your existing Hayabusa you can do so at an additional cost. Some of the characteristics of Hayabusa Mono Shock include:
a) Rear Lift: 4” to 5”
b) Minimum Retracted 12”
c) Diameter: 3 ¼”
d) Shock Travel: 2”
e) Maximum Extended 14”
This new feature is likely to be included in 2011 Suzuki Hayabusa that will be available in Pearl Mirage White and Pearl Nebular Black colors. The other specification of 2011 Hayabusa is likely to remain the same. The new Hayabusa will come with S-DMS technology that will allow the bikers to choose the engine settings depending on the riding condition and personal preference.
