New features in Suzuki Hayabusa 2008

The engine has been upgraded and you get 1340 cc engine instead of the 1290 cc engine which is present in 2007 model. The connecting rod and pistons have been changed. The crankshaft has been changed which has resulted in improved oiling. The titanium valves placed on the lighter single valve springs help in reducing the reciprocating mass. The fuel delivery system has been improved with the introduction of new double barrel SDTV throttle.
The four pistons Dual Tokico calipers are highly appreciated upgrades because of its improved capability of slowing down the mean machine. The brake disk size has also been reduced to quicken the steering movement. Also the design team has worked extremely hard to maintain the original look yet make Hayabusa look as iconic as possible.
The removal of extraneous brackets has helped in reducing the frame weight. The sub-frames are comparatively much stronger. The seat height has also been reduced by reducing the height of badonkadonk (proof rectangular steel rails). The cockpit of Hayabusa is more spacious with the addition of 0.7 inch of legroom and a half an inch longer reach to the bars. The height of the wind screen has been increased by 0.6 inches making your ride more comfortable.
